IS THERE MACKINAC ISLAND FERRY SHUTTLES?
Both Ferry Lines, (Shepler’s, and Star Line), provide a free shuttle service to and from the park. These shuttles are on call and are very prompt. When your group is ready just come to the office and we will call for you. They do not take reservations for the shuttles. Ferry schedules are available at our tourist information center. We highly recommend taking advantage of the free shuttle’s as parking can be a challenge during busy times. There is also a free shuttle to and from the Kewadin Casino in St. Ignace which includes a free ride across the Mackinac Bridge.

DOES TEE PEE CAMPGROUND HAVE FIREWOOD?
We have excellent campfire wood available for a reasonable price (all hardwood logs). Transporting firewood across the state is not recommended with the many diseases that it can carry with it. Absolutely no firewood is allowed across the Mackinac Bridge into the Upper Peninsula.

There is water and electric on every site, a fire pit and a picnic table. We do not have sewer hookups on the sites. We have a convenient dump station and some portable tanks on wheels that are there for anyone to use.
DOES TEE PEE CAMPGROUND HAVE A BEACH?
We have a very nice sandy beach area that is open to everyone in the park and comes complete with beach chairs and a playground for the kids. Swimming is fine and the water usually warms up enough by the 4th of July. It is a bit stony on the lake bottom so water shoes/sandals are recommended. Boating and Kayaking are popular as well for enjoying some time on the water. There are 2 boat launches within one mile of the campground. The nightly beach bon fire that we provide for our guests is a tradition we have kept for some 40 plus years. The sunrise and sunset (both visible from our beach) are breathtaking as well as the unparalleled view of the symbol of our great state the Mighty Mackinac Bridge.
